Bag Smart have produced a Retail Training CD this is a joint initiative by Enterprise in the Community –  and  The Department Environment and Heritage

The purpose of the Training CD is to provide retailers with practical approaches to reduce plastic shopping bags
The core concept behind the Bag Smart Campaign is that greater and more sustainable change will occur when retailers work collaboratively with their community to reduce plastic shopping bags.

In the bag smart story you will see how the campaign is communicated to the wider community, including local Government, Community organizations and schools. The remainder of the CD is dedicated to the needs of retailers, focusing on how to prepare your store and staff training.
